John T. Hill, II has served as President of Public Service Insurance Company since 2003. John joined Public Service Insurance Company in 1995 in the role of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Public Service Insurance Company was recently acquired by Premia Holdings Inc. and is now a member of the Premia Group of Companies.
John served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and was the organization’s Chairman in 2010. In 2009, John was asked to testify in front of the United States Senate Banking Committee on behalf of the NAMIC membership regarding insurance regulation. In that same year, he was also asked to testify in front of the United States House of Representatives Financial Services Committee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government Sponsored Enterprises hearing entitled, “Systemic Risk and Insurance.” John represented the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies at the inaugural conference hosted by the Federal Insurance Office on “Insurance Regulation in the United States, Modernization and Improvement.” He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Insurance Federation of New York and the Board of Directors of NCCI Holdings, Inc.
John earned a BA degree in accounting from Waynesburg College and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. John is a Deacon and Chairman of the Trustee Board of the New Hope Baptist Church Metuchen, New Jersey. John served on the Board of Trustees of Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA from 2012 to 2019. John was recently appointed to the Board of the newly formed NAAIA Foundation. John and his wife Gayle reside in Pennington, New Jersey.
