Harold L. Jamison is a Corporate Secretary and Senior Vice President of the Human Resources and Regulatory Departments at Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company (PLM), a Property & Casualty Insurer based in Philadelphia, PA specializing in insuring Wood related businesses.
Harold has over 35+of experience in the insurance industry, 20+ of which is with PLM. Primarily focused in the Regulatory & Governance Areas in his early career with PLM, in 2015, he took on responsibilities as the Vice President in charge of the Human Resources Department. In addition, Harold is also PLM’s Corporate Secretary and handles the company’s Board Related activities.
Prior to joining PLM, Harold worked in the Risk Management Departments of Irving Trust Company and the Bank of New York in New York. He also held a Regulatory Position at Reliance Insurance Company and Home Office Claims Position at Risk Enterprise Management (Travelers), both in Philadelphia.
Harold holds a B.A. Degree in Property & Casualty Insurance from St John University’s – Insurance College (f/k/a The College of Insurance, NY) and a J.D. Law Degree from Rutgers University (NJ). He also holds several Professional Insurance Designations, including: CPCU, ERM, ARM, & ACP.
Currently Harold serves on the Board of the Philadelphia Fireman’s Hall Museum, the Black Founders – Advisory Committee of the Museum of the American Revolution, and a Mentor in the company’s High School Intern Program with Cristo Rey.
He has formerly sat on a number of Insurance Industry Committees associated with the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) and the Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (PAMIC) and has served in the NJ – Air National Guard.
