Dave Willis, CPIA, is a seasoned writer and communicator with 30-plus years of experience in the insurance and risk management community. The Taylor University alumnus began his career with a small Midwest mutual life insurance company, then moved on to a global multi-line carrier, where he held a variety communication and management roles. Since then, he has held freelance and other positions, serving technology, publishing, association, and corporate concerns. He co-founded an Internet community for property and casualty insurance professionals and served as editorial director for that and other business-to-business websites. Since 2016, he has served as editor-in-chief for Rough Notes magazine.
